The London Breast Clinic was established in 1991 by Jerry Gilmore, who having been appointed Consultant Surgeon at St Bartholomew? Hospital in 1976, founded the Barts Breast Unit in 1981.

The London Breast Clinic was set up in order to offer private patients the multidisciplinary approach introduced by the NHS National Breast Screening Programme. The Clinic is a Consultant led and delivered service by Consultants with National and International reputations in Radiology, Surgery, Pathology, Oncology, Radiotherapy and Genetics, providing rapid access for consultation, rapid diagnosis and treatment using the latest technology including full field digital mammography.

Miss Fiona McNeill Consultant in Breast and Reconstructive surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Breast Tutor at the Royal College of England, has been the Surgical Director of the London Breast Clinic since 2009.

A range of integrated breast care services are provided for both benign and malignant disease, including screening, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, reconstruction and after care. All treatment programmes are individually tailored to suit the patient's needs, members of the team working closely together to ensure the best treatment with peace of mind and minimal delays. The London Breast Clinic is a Bupa Approved Breast Cancer Unit.
